About Us
Tara Lampert, MA, RYT 500, is the current director of the ‘Alaska Center for Mindfulness’.
She has been practicing mindfulness meditation and yoga since 1999, and has trained with many different yoga and meditation teachers around the country. She has been teaching meditation and yoga in Alaska since 2014.
Tara has completed an 18-month ‘Mindfulness Yoga and Meditation Teacher Training’ at Spirit Rock Meditation Center.
She has been an adjunct professor in the ‘Women’s Studies’ Department at the University of Alaska Anchorage since 2006, and has a Master’s degree in ‘Creative Writing’.

Samantha Case is passionate about holistic wellness and collective wellbeing. She is a 200- hour Registered Yoga Teacher and received her Mindfulness Meditation Teaching Certification from the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center, studying under world- renowned mindfulness teachers and clinical psychologists Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach. The intention at the heart of her work is three-fold: to help reduce individual and collective suffering, to help people get in touch with meaning and purpose, and to help us all be present for and intentional about how we live in the unfolding of our short and precious lives. Samantha also enjoys writing, photography, trail running, and cycling.
